Hiring a Virtual Assistant for even 3 hours per week can lighten your load, lift you out of the doldrums and make you more productive.
Once potential clients learn what a Virtual Assistant can do they are generally so amazed at the depth and breadth of a VA’s services that it’s difficult for them to envision how to begin when they hire a VA.
Typically a VA’s website includes list of services they provide – but the problem is that it all looks good - where do you start? Think about tasks and activities that for you are time-intensive and don’t require face-to-face interaction with your customers or prospects. Then decide which of these tasks you'd delegate if only you had a qualified, intelligent person to help you do it.
Rest assured that there is a VA out there that can help you. VA’s generally tailor what they do for clients based on the clients individual needs. So you may call and ask “What can you do for me?” Don’t be surprised if their response is “What do you need”? This only means that they're confident that they can help you accomplish it.
Here’s one idea on how to use a VA: Use a VA to be Reminded - an example - A client has important tasks and goals to be accomplished but gets busy and tends to put them off in favor of the urgent problem of the day. The client now has a VA and calls or emails the VA with a list of things that they want to be reminded about & when. The VA sends reminders to the client at the appropriate time, calling the client to ensure completion. If the client is swamped and can’t attend to the task, the VA gets it accomplished for the client – or even completes pieces of the task to make it a more manageable task for the client to tackle.
